RE: Does TANG clean a stained toilet bowl?

Instead of using Tang try one of the orange based cleaners (you can even get them at the dollar stores). I buy 1 gallon bottles of the citrus based cleaner concentrate at Home Depot and it makes quite a few gallons of cleaner depending on what strength you mix it to. I use it for most cleaning that does not require a disinfectant and do not use it for glass.

This has been going on for a long time. For those of us into the "Elixir of Life" remember when you used to buy a pound of coffee not 13 ounces?

RE: Campsite Mosquito Control Suggestions

Bring a fan. Skeeters and knats avoid a stiff breeze.
Having just been in Minnesota, I can attest that a stiff breeze does nothing to stop those suckers. Something like THIS might work.
I have been bitten by those Minnesota skeeters and that won't stop those B-52 sized bloodsuckers, try this for Minnesota skeeters

RE: reporting call to FCC

There is also another report you could make that is possibly profitable to you. If they call you repeatedly you should report them to your state's Attorney General's office or whatever they call it in your state. Save their information on your caller ID and keep a record of who you told to not call you again. Some states will file a lawsuit on your behalf against the telemarketer and if they win in court you get the money or a percentage of it. Just remember that charities, political entities and companies you do business with such as department stores that you have a credit card with are exempt from the do not call restrictions.

RE: Starbucks To Close 600 Stores!!

Starbuck's has made some really stupid moves at times that cost them dearly by NOT opening in certain areas. In Towson MD (Just north of Baltimore) they did not have a store within walking distance of Towson University until last year. How can you not have a location near a university with several thousand students? That area has a high yuppie population and appeal.

RE: Budweiser sold to In-Bev for $70.00 a share

Yes, Sam Adams is an American beer brewed in Boston.
While Samuel Adams IS an American beer it is NOT brewed in Boston. When Samuel Adams beer became popular and the branched out into nationwide sales they did not have the brewing capacity to supply the market. Adams beer is brewed and bottled under contract by other beer companies for Samuel Adams of course using their recipe.

Microsoft hates anybody using a firewall other than theirs. I had a problem with my Norton firewall after that update. It's back to normal now.

Try looking in the local phone book for a sheet metal shop and I'm sure they could make one for you at a reasonable price.

RE: Easy Meal for Large Group

How about making a large pot of chili and after it cools ladle it into 1 gallon freezer bags and either freeze or refrigerate. At the campgrounds just dump into a big pot, heat and serve. Chili is good at any time. Have some bowls of condiments around like chopped jalapeno's shredded cheese and a bottle or 2 of hot sauce.

RE: Are GM, Ford and Chrysler the Foreign cars of the future?

The "American" car or truck hasn't existed in years. They have parts and sub assemblies that are made in Japan, Germany, China, Mexico, Canada, Korea, Australia and France. Many Ford, GM and Chrysler cars, especially their small car lines are entirely built overseas and many midsized are as well.

RE: What to add to rice

As a side dish I added a can of pineapple tidbits and their juice to the rice before it was done cooking. Don't add it at the beginning or the pineapple will be mush. It turned out really good.

RE: Blinker fluid?

When changing or refilling the blinker fluid don't forget to change the headlight oil with the new synthetic. Be careful with the blinker fluid, make sure that you don't put left fluid in the right blinker and right fluid in the left blinker, or is that wrong fluid in the right blinker.
